Hello, I’m Mia Wexford, an IT security professional based in Australia with a deep focus on VPN technologies, online privacy, and network protection. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve combined formal education with hands-on experience to build a career devoted to safeguarding digital environments for both individuals and organisations.

I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) with a degree in Information Technology, specialising in network systems and cybersecurity. While my studies provided a strong technical foundation, it was the practical application in real-world environments that truly shaped my expertise.

From 2008 to 2012, I worked as a Network Administrator and Security Analyst for a major Australian telecom provider, gaining valuable insight into large-scale network infrastructure, ISP security challenges, and data privacy practices. Between 2012 and 2016, I served as an IT Security Consultant for small and medium enterprises in Melbourne, implementing comprehensive security solutions, conducting vulnerability assessments, and training staff in cybersecurity best practices.

Since 2016, I have been working independently as a security consultant and educator, focusing primarily on VPN solutions and privacy protection for individuals and families. My work includes personalised consultations, detailed security audits, educational resources, and ongoing research into encryption methods, online tracking, and privacy tools.
